When this happens, we make sure your personal information stays safe and protected, no matter where it goes.

If we transfer your data outside the EEA (European Economic Area), we only do this when:

  • The country is officially recognized as safe

Some countries already have strong data protection laws.  The EU has approved them as having an “adequate” level of protection.  If your data goes to one of these countries, it is protected to EU standards.

Or we use EU‑approved legal agreements

If the country does not have an EU approval, we use special contracts called Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). These clauses require the organization receiving your data to:

  • Keep your information secure
  • Use it only for the purpose of your application
  • Protect it to the same level as required in Europe

Further details on international data transfers and applicable safeguards can be requested by contacting us using the details in Section 15.

10. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Typical retention approach:

  • Candidate recruitment records: retained for 1 year from last meaningful contact
  • Marketing data: until you withdraw consent/opt out
  • Client billing records: retained in line with legal/tax requirements
