Get Married in Brazil

Formalize your union from anywhere in the world. The online marriage procedure is handled by specialists who will take care of the entire process, from guiding you about the necessary certificates for marriage eligibility via videoconference to delivering the marriage certificate already translated and apostilled, all in a secure, legal, and hassle-free manner.

Same-sex marriage is legally recognized in Brazil; however, you may need to observe the local legislation from your country of residency regarding the legality of same sex marriage.

Upon starting the consultancy, MWeds will analyze your situation as a couple and send you the list of documents and instructions on how the documents need to be prepared regarding quality for example.
Once we receive all requested documents and application fee, we will make sure everything is within the required quality and will ask you to redo something if necessary. Once we are happy with your documents, we will send them to our Registry Office’s partner in Brazil. We will receive any communication from them and will keep you up to date regarding any extra requests. We will then receive the date to do the first videocall to have the digital certificate approved.
Around 5 days after the first videocall, we will have the date of the wedding ceremony, which will also be via videocall and will be conducted by the Judge. Around 5 working days after the wedding, we will have the digital marriage certificate, and we will send it to you by email.
