Upcoming Citizenship Ceremonies in Ireland – December 2025
Ireland continues to welcome new citizens through its official naturalisation ceremonies, which are an important milestone for those who have completed the citizenship process. The next scheduled ceremonies will take place on Monday, 1st December, and Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, at the INEC in Killarney, Co. Kerry.
During the event, candidates will formally take an oath of fidelity to the nation, marking their commitment as Irish citizens. This is a symbolic and legal step that finalises the naturalisation process.
Certificates of naturalisation will not be handed out on the day; instead, they will be issued by registered post shortly after the ceremony.
Participants must bring valid identification for verification purposes. A passport is the preferred document, but if you cannot provide one, an alternative form of photo ID will be accepted

Invitations and Attendance
Please note that invitations have not yet been issued. The Immigration Service Delivery advises applicants not to contact them regarding invitations at this stage. Invitations will be sent out in due course to those who are eligible.
Citizenship ceremonies are more than a legal requirement—they represent inclusion, belonging, and the start of a new chapter in Ireland. For many, this day is the culmination of years of living, working, and contributing to Irish society.
